The Light of Darkness

The spring had just begun,
And it was a beautiful day.
But there was no one there,
Just an empty pathway.

I decided to take a walk,
And went out to face the sun, bright,
But darkness erupted everywhere,
Consuming the light.

Wanting to forget everything,
I roamed around without fear.
But the sadness wasn't going to leave me,
And I felt my eyes fill with tear.

I hushed them right away,
And tried to give a smile.
But little did I know that,
Its been a long while.

He was my happiness,
My love and my desire.
But now he's gone away,
And left me burning like fire.

Do you see me now?
Are you happy that I'm hurt?
I have no one to share this pain with,
No friend to let it blurt.

Please come back,
And tell me everything will be fine.
Because you are not a stranger,
But someone I'd like to call Mine.

I'll be waiting for you,
Because you are all I need.
Come back and wipe this tears,
Which from my eyes bleed.

Fun under the Sun

Day at the Beach
Credits: blog.firstvacationrental.com
"I wish I had opted for my hair removal", said she and the 4 of us followed with, "I know right?", "I wish so too", "I'm so stupid", "I wish we could now".

It was a beautiful morning, of course it should be, cause all of us were very excited. Finally the D-Day had arrived. After postponing our trip for like 4times, we were finally going to Talkadu.

Early in the morning we got up, met near our college and left for Talkadu. It was too good to be true actually. We were 10 of us, comprising of 2 couples and 6 singles. We left the last seats for the couples so that they can romance, while we 6 occupied the front ones. All throughout the way we sang, danced, teased each other, fought, flirted and what not.

After a two and half hour enjoyable journey, we reached our destination. Our excitement increased much more as we saw the water. At once we took our bags and dashed for the changing rooms.

And that's when it all happened. We all had got shorts or 3/4th along with short tops, but none of us had waxed. We looked at each other and sighed. My friend looked into the mirror and said, "I wish I had opted for my hair removal", and at once four approvals followed along with our comments added to it.

The committed ones were worried because they wanted to look perfectly good to their guys, while we single girls were worried that our plan of impressing someone at the beach is going to fail. But we had no other option. So we took our bags, and went out just to see that the guys were busy discussing something. As we got near, we heard what they were saying and we couldn't help but giggle.

The two guys with girlfriends were cleanly shaved, while the other three had not. Till then they had not bothered about it, but as soon as they saw the girls out there, their inner animals came out.

They were saying something like, "Dude you could have at least remembered us right?", while another was like, "You already have girlfriends, its us who are looking and yet you guys are looking good with that shaved face, I hate you man", and we girls simply passed them as we pretended we didn't hear it because they'll feel embarrassed, and as we had guessed, as soon as they saw us they all became silent, and moved with us to keep our bags and get into the water.

As we got into the water, we forgot everything, all we knew was that WE WERE IN WATER, and that was more than enough for us. We splashed water on each other, we held hands as we all dipped in and tried to see who will stay under water the longest, we had a water fight, we sang in water, we danced, we shouted, all in all, we enjoyed a lot.

The best part of all of it was when we floated. Not many of us knew swimming, so those who knew were helping us out. Here also we left space for the couples to enjoy, as we six acted like the craziest freaks in this world. The guys helped us to swim and float.
One of the guys, held us one by one as we lay in his hand backwards and floated. He taught all the three of us by moving round and round as we lay there. And once he left us, we were floating by ourselves, we didn't need any support. So, that's how we were made to learn floating. Romantic right? Who said only couples can romance?

Then before leaving for our lunch, and leaving this place, we all decided we will all hold hands and form a circle as we all float. And we did that. We attracted a lot of public attention as we were doing it, and we enjoyed it to the utmost, finally it was a success. We made a perfect circle with all of our hands interlocked with each other as we floated.

That's when a girl came towards us, she was of our age, and she seemed to move towards my friend who taught us all to float, he was the one who actually helped all of us to get a perfect circle. She looked interested in him, she came smiling, and once she saw him with face full of mustache and beard, her smile faded and so did she as she walked away.

He frowned as we all laughed at him, and he got up angry and said, "Damn it man! I wish I had shaved".

And that's how the fun-tastic day ended for us.

Forever in our Heart

C. JinadattaRaya
C.Jinadatta Raya aka C.J.Raya is my sweet Grandpa. It seems, that I opened my eyes as soon as I was born, and that he was the first one to kiss them.

This man, had 3 kids, and 4 grand kids, including me. His love for his grandchildren was too much. He looked after us as if we were his own kids. My brother and my 2 cousins got to see Circus and were able to visit parks because of him. He was the one who taught them Lagori, Marbles, Gilli Dandu, Cricket and all the games.

As I was born way, way after them and as I am the only Grand Daughter he has, his love for me was much more. I was his little angel :) <3. Everyday, he used to take me on a ride on his vehicle. When I was 3, I got a tricycle, and he used to run behind me, everywhere I went, making sure I was safe. He used to daily drop me to school. And he even took me out wherever I wanted. After his retirement, dropping me and picking me up became his job.

When I was a little girl, being with my grandparents was heaven. But as I started growing up, everything started to fall apart. As they were of older generation they never accepted anything I did, and it used to make me angry. I did what I wanted, nevertheless, but still I used to fight with them and hurt them. I always felt bad for doing that because, they didn't know about the world know, I should have told them calmly just the way they had taught me life. But I never did :(.

No matter what happened, there was a strong bond between me and my grandpa. We fought like hell and everything, but this unspoken bond was always there. It all started the day, we both PLANTED a Tulasi Plant in a pot. He had held my hand and made me dig the mud, then made me keep the plant and close the mud. Then he made sure I watered it. Everyday, I used to water plants with him. That's how our bond grew. With nature.

Soon, one POT in our home, turned to a full Garden, not only in front but in the backyard as well. We used to plant them together and water them daily, and silently watch them grow. Even when we were angry with each other, we did this, and we understood each other through the silence.

This is how I came to love nature. Whenever I was sad, I just climb up to my house side terrace, and sit there as long as I want. All the trees in my house bend over there and sitting there is like sitting in the midst of nature. Its a very blissful place.

Anyway, Nature was the one which kept the bond between us. Even though we never told it to each other, We loved each other like anything. My grandpa was just an ordinary man, yet he is an inspiration for many.

Even at the age of 85, he used to ride his vehicle and go to market to get stuff for home. He never allowed anyone else to do. Whenever someone pointed it out he would just say, "They are too young. Moreover, Its my job, and I don't like asking for help".

It was his policy. Whatever work there was, no matter how difficult, if it was HIS JOB, HE HIMSELF has to do it. He would never ask or take another person's help. He never even told someone to do something, which he himself could have done. He believed in WORK IS WORSHIP.

One another best thing in him was that, He never asked anyone for money. He would starve forever rather than asking someone. Even though he didn't study much, he worked hard, saved money, and constructed a new house, the house where I live in, the house I call my home.

Whatever money he had, he was content with that. Even though his salary was less, he managed the whole house hold activity. He had even given some money to his wife saying, when I die, use this money to make all the further things. I have never been in another man's debt and I never want to. Even when I die.

He has seen the whole of India, and have even been to all the places of the world except US and UK. It was dream to visit US and see everything over there. My cousin had even told him that he would make sure that he took both my grandpa and grandma there within another 6 months.

He had only one DREAM, and that was to see me SETTLED. He wanted to see me standing on my own legs, totally independent, head held high. He was really eager to see my 12th board results. No matter how good or bad the results might have come out, he would have been proud of me. He is the only one who understood my DREAM.

Everyone in my house was against me when I said I wanted to take up animation right after 10th. But my grandpa took my side. He made very valid points, but alas it was all left to my parents and they said, "No animation till you degree is over". While I suffered in silence, my grandpa collected all the flyers, brochures, and the made some cuttings in paper, all related to animation. He kept them all in a file, and used to show it to me. He used to sit and talk to me, asking me which I think was the best of them and which I should join.

My parents never knew about this, till date they don't. It was something secret that me and my grandpa had. Another special bond. He would do anything to see me happy. And I just love him for that.

My only regret is that, I wasn't with you during the last few moments of your life :'(. Everyone keeps telling me how you had asked of me :(. How you had asked of your Pooji :'( </3. He has asked, "Where is my Pooji? I want to see her", and before someone could call me and tell me that you wanted to see me, you left us all :'(.

Why grandpa? :( Why did you have to leave so soon? :'(. Why did you leave your Pooji alone? :(
You were so eager to see my results, and just a week before it, you had to leave? :(.
Now whom will I go show my results? Whom will I run to with a big smile on my face and give a hug?
Who will write down all my MARKS, and show it to EACH AND EVERY PERSON that came to our house, saying My Granddaughter scored this much? :(

I still remember the last thing I ever told you. It was when I was taking you to the hospital and you were not able to walk. I took hold of your hand, looked into your eyes and had asked, "You have become so weak Tata. What happened to my Strong Man?" And you, you had just given me your beautiful smile and patted my head <3 :) :(.

I miss you gramp :(, and I need you :'(. Its been 2 days without you and every morning I wake up hoping to see you sitting on the Sofa, waiting for me to wake up, and to tell me that it was all a bad dream :(. But you are never here :'(. Are you never going to come back? :( Will I never be able to see you again? :( Will I never be able to listen to your voice? :'(

Today I tried something. I climbed the terrace and sat there among the trees, waiting to feel your presence.
I might have felt it, if I had stayed there. But I couldn't. Seeing all those trees brought back the memories of me and you planting them together, of you holding my hand and it hurt me :(. I wanted to be with you :( and I came back down.

Being with nature is the only way I can be with you now, but its hurting me to go there Gramp :(. Please gramp give me some of your strength, otherwise the plants we both looked after will leave this world, just like you :( and I can't lose it too :'(. Please be with me Gramp. Even though you aren't here, I want to feel as if you are here. Please just be with me Gramp :( Or I would crash and burn :'(. You are my strength <3.

I'm sorry I never told this before :( but I LOVE YOU Gramp <3 A lot :). And I miss you :(. I wish you were here <3 :(. May You Rest In Peace <3 :). And I hope you are having a great next adventure :) :* <3.

RIP TATA :(. I love you <3

Tears & Butterfly Effect

A Tear dropped down  her eyes,
As she went into her room.
"When will all the pain end?",She thought,
"When is the day of Doom?"

Her heart ached and eyes cried,
But no one was there to care.
She took a knife and cut herself,
How much does she dare?

The blood spilled all across the floor,
Just the way her tears flew.
She sat there and waited,
For someone to get a clue.

But no one came,
It was just her and her pain.
She walked to her window, And
out there was heavy rain.

She went out and got drenched,
And she found her pain shared.
The nature was crying with her,
Showing that the Gods cared.

She felt much better,
As soon as she found it out,
That there was always someone to care,
So, no reason to cry about.

She wiped her tears,
And looked up at the sky.
She smiled and said,
"I'll never know Why".

Everything became fine,
As the scars began to heal.
She won't cut again, she promised,
Keeping it was a big deal.

There are so many people in this world who CUT themselves as they are not able to face the pain that they face. Isn't this cruel? Not the PAIN. The thing that they Hurt themselves?
First thing is that, they are not the only ones who Suffer in life.Every single person would have faced Difficulties in life. Hiding yourself from it and cutting yourself would be cowardly. When so many people have the guts to face it, why cant they?
I have one question to those who Cut themselves. You Cut yourself. Will it Erase all your troubles?
It doesn't right? Its just a way for you to hurt yourself more.
I had cut myself once. I regret that I ever Did it, but I did learn a lesson from it.

What I learned, you ask?
Hmm! I Learned that LIFE is much more than pain and stuff. Once you pass through those moments, there is so much out there which can make you happy. If I have to know the meaning of HAPPY then I have go through PAIN right? Without that I won't be able to respect the Happy Moments.

Next thing was that, MY PARENTS didn't Slog all day at work, and took so much trouble to Bring me up just so that I could go and Kill myself. They have gone through double the trouble to Make Me who I am now. When they could go through so much, then Can't I go through a little bit of trouble? Its nature of Life right?

Third was that, LIFE is a precious thing. We could have been anything. A Dog, A Cat, Even a COCKROACH, but NO, we were given the LIFE of HUMANS, The most intelligent beings on earth. We have been gifted with this LIFE so that we can live through it and achieve something. And not to run away from every little things.

When, there are so many GOOD THINGS in LIFE, then why Hurt yourself for something BAD that has happened? You may have many troubles, but once you FACE them you'll know that there is so much to enjoy.

Its a BIG request from my side to all those who cut yourselves, PLEASE DONT DO IT. Your life is really precious. And there are many people in this world who would give ANYTHING to be in your position today. Life is not as bad as it looks. So please, Be Brave and Don't hurt yourselves.

BUTTERFLY EFFECT is a really good way to get over this CUTTING mania. Please take a look it and try to implement it in your life.

Thank you.

Just Some Crazy Stuff

Well everyone who knows me knows how CRAZY I am. Well, being a Crazy Girl, I have some Really CRAZY FANTASIES. Its my wish that I do all of this, before I.. Well, Die. There are many fantasies of mine, but I can't mention all of them here na? My readers will die of utter shock. So, lets spare them. Here are some of the (small)Crazy Fantasies that I'm dreaming to do..

1. Deep Sea Diving
I love being under water. Its really peaceful. Water has always attracted me towards it. Moreover, I love fishes and the way they move. I've always wanted to jump into the sea and just swim after them. Well, that has been NOT POSSIBLE for 2 reasons, Firstly My Mom didn't allow me. Secondly because I don't know swimming. Anyways, I'll learn it one day and then go jump into a Sea or an Ocean.. Oh! How much I want to be there!!!

2.Paragliding & Para-sailing
Cry, Cry. Oops. I Mean, Fly Fly.. The words bring a smile to my face. I'm damn afraid of heights, but I would so love doing this. Its just like Flying isn't it? With some duplicate Wings. I want to fly!!!

3.Bungee Jumping
Another Fantasy that challenges my Phobia, but that won't bring me down. How awesome would it be to Jump off a cliff for FUN and manage not to DIE.. Sounds Yummy...

4.Cliff Diving
Look at the picture. I'm going to Die in Jealousy by just looking at it. I so badly want to jump off a cliff. But first, need to learn to swim.
Most importantly, I must make sure that my Mom never hears of this. Otherwise I'm Go Went Gone even before I can say Cli....

5.Climb Mount Everest
Nature is something that I really love. Trekking has always been my favorite thing to do. So, Going on top of Mount Everest is one of my Dream Fantasies. I think I'll really love it there. But to be really truthful, Of all the Dream Fantasies I have, I doubt if I'll be able to do this one.

6.Skiing
So, cool na? Its like Flying, walking and Skating all together. Oh my! Can't wait to do this. I can easily let myself get lost in this Snow. Why doesn't it snow here? *Sob Sob*

7.Dance in Rain with a STRANGER
This is something I've been dreaming since a long long time. I've danced in rain many number of times. Sometimes alone, Sometimes with my friends and Sometimes with my Cousins. I've even danced in Rain with my Teachers. But I want to dance with a Stranger when its raining. I know, I know I'm crazy. But this would be so awesome. Just Imagine!!!

8. Go to Top of Eiffel Tower
Yep! I really want to go on top of the Eiffel Tower and shout "WASSUP PEOPLE?". Sounds Fun. Yeah, I'll get nice kicks and probably get arrested as well. But, Fun is Fun I say. You only get to live once.

9. Run Away from Home
Don't give me that look. I just want to run away from Home for a little while and Face the world on my own. My mom keeps saying, if you were left alone, I want to know what you would have done. And that happens everytime I don't do some work. So I really want to find out WHAT WOULD REALLY HAPPEN If I am left alone. So, yeah. Let me run away.

10.Meet Ian
Don't Stare at the Photo. The Guy is MINE. And the words are so true. Sometimes, All I need is IAN. He is the reason for my Smile :).
Blush! Blush!! How badly I want to meet him, no one will ever know. I want to meet him and then tell him that, "I Love Him" and that He has the Most Beautiful Eyes in this world and that He has a really Charming smile Which makes me feel as if I'm dead and gone to Heaven. And that he is real sweetheart and that I want his Autograph on a Photo in which Me and Him are together. And that I wan't him to write, "I Love You" on it... Uff!!
So Much I have to tell him. But to be truthful, if he comes in front of me, I'll faint. So the above things happening are really doubtful :(.
Oh! Ian!!!

11. Scold My Manager
When I'll be working, if I ever want to Change my Job or leave a Company then I want to SCOLD MY MANAGER really nice before giving my Resignation letter. I want to say everything I wouldn't be able to and then Scold badly. At last, say "It was Fun. Hope you accept my resignation. I mean, ofcourse you will".

12.Shout and Run
Well, in the picture its Brother and Sister who are shouting. But I always do that don't I?
But its not my dream fantasy. What I want to do is, Shout Out Loud some really funny thing and then Run out Classroom or Office. Hehe! I'll get kicked out for this. But, as I said before, When you want to have Fun, you have to have Fun.

13. HP way
When I start to go to College, and if 'BY MISTAKE' I turn up late, then I want to run into my Classroom saying, "Troll in the Dungeon! Thought you ought to know" and then Collapse on the floor. Just like Quirrell.

14. Have GolGappa & Ice Cream eating Challenge

I hate EATING. But well that depends on certain things. ICE CREAM is my most favorite thing in this world. After that would be French Fries and then Golgappa.
I really want to have a challenge stating who will eat More Golgappa and IceCream..
I am so doing this as soon as my boards are over..
Brooooooooooooooo!!!

15. Attend a totally Strangers Marriage

Not for the function.. Ewww!! I just want to attend some stranger's marriage just for the fun of it.
I want to go to the Guy's parents and say, "Hi Aunty. How are you? Forgot me? I was there when you had come to See the Bride" and same with Girl's Parents. Heheh! Sounds so fun na?

Well, Thats all for now. These are the Little SANE ones. All others are totally insane. I am waiting for the day, when I can post on my blog saying, COMPLETED ALL MY DREAM FANTASIES :D. Aah! Music to my ears ;) :D.
Oh! BTW, Don't bother calling the Mental Hospital!! They are still in search of me :P :P.

When LIGHT Erased DARKNESS

I remember that day very well. It was 2 years ago, when I was in my 10th. It was going to be my Last March, along with my friends. It was October 2nd, Gandhi Jayanthi. And just like every year, this year also our school had decided to take us on a MARCH though Bangalore, in order to raise people's awareness about Gandhi.

We had been asked to be present at 5:30 in the morning. 5:30AM for god's sake!! I would have just fallen into a nice Dream!! How our teachers love to ruin our dreams na? Anyways, I couldn't escape it, and I didn't want to escape it. As I told you before it was my last chance to do this. After that day, even if I myself begged, I wouldn't be allowed to do it, So yeah! I had to go.

The road to school. Picture Courtesy:Google.

I woke up at 5 and then woke up my Dearest Daddy to take me to school. And the road was just the same as in the picture. It was like walking in a zombie land!! And trust me, my dad didn't make it any easier. I kept on talking and talking to him and he didn't even respond. I guess he was sleep walking!! (Thats a bit scary, right?).

Anyways, I just keep on talking so that I wouldn't get scared. Not the night guys, my teacher was walking right in front of me. I was afraid she would turn into a zombie and eat me up! [I should stop watching movies :-/]. I reach school at 5:30 and to my surprise, everyone was already there. Gosh! People go crazy at times.

What more crazy was that we decided to surprise our teachers, and took our positions. Me, being a (really bad) singer, joined the school singing group in their position. We stood there and chit-chatted.
Our teachers came and my oh my! They had a heart attack. Our Headmistress looked as if she could kiss us all.

Finally, our PT SIR joined us, and it was decided that we would start the march at 6:30. So, we stood there waiting for the time to pass, and scorning at our teachers for disturbing our lovely sleep. As it was still dark we couldn't play anything and chit-chat was our only time-pass.

Rising Sun. Image Courtesy:Google.
At precisely 6, Something wonderful happened. We were all staring at sky, trying to count the stars(we are that awesome :P) and suddenly, there was light. The sun was rising. The DEAD DARKNESS was now slowly fading and Light had taken its place. Everything looked beautiful. Flock of birds started to fly. It was like living in a Painting. The beauty of it, made us all smile. Its not everyday we see such a thing. It was a Nature Miracle.

That day, not only did we SEE a MIRACLE but learned something from it. No matter how much troubles we face in life, sometime the LIGHT will shine. It will erase all the darkness and Bring a smile to our face, just as it did then.

The beauty of nature cannot be expressed in words. The joy of experiencing it that day, is something I'll never forget. The feeling I had, the Happiness I felt, the Peace there was around. Just Splendid. Nature teaches us a lot, doesn't it?

One Trip, Two Lessons & Lots of Fun.

Princess Photography

Beep Beep, Beep Beep, Shouted my Alarm Clock. It was 6:00AM in the morning, and for once, I was not sad for getting up so early. I jumped from my bed and in half an hour, I was ready. My mom was shocked at my enthusiasm. Ofcourse, why wouldn't she? Her daughter who would say "5 more mins Amma, Please" when woken up at 12, has woken up at 6 and has gotten ready without a single word. All I know is, I was excited. I was going off on my First School Trip. Whole day with friends, and no RULES for just a while! How lovely. I was in 4th Grade at that time.

The trip was scheduled to begin at 8 and for once every single student was present before 7:30. There were murmurs everywhere. Everyone was excited for the trip. At 8, we all boarded our bus, and left. Where to? We didn't know. We didn't care. We were told that we would be camping somewhere peaceful. Well, will it ever be peaceful if we all were there? Never!!

We reached the place at 10. The journey was fantastic. We sang and danced and played. We were having lots of fun. Soon, we were all tired out and were hungry. We got down from the bus, to see a catering stand. Aah! Yum. After filling our stomachs, we turned around to take a look at our so-called "Camping Place". Our eyes nearly came out due to shock. Where in the world were we?

Camping Place. Image Courtesy: Google.
The picture shows exactly how the place was. Why were we shocked you ask? We hail from THE GARDEN CITY. We grew up with Trees and plants around us. In other words, we grew up with nature. And all of a sudden we are brought out a place where there are no trees. NO TREES!! I hadn't even imagined that there would be such a place.

We turned to our teachers to give us some explanation. Looking at our curious faces, the teachers asked us to sit down so that they could tell us what exactly we were there for. Without another word we all sit down and stare at them intently. Our PT Sir started walking around us as our dear class teacher began to speak.

"You are all wondering why you are brought our here, right?", she asked.
We All Nodded.
"As you can see, this place doesn't have a single tree. Now, you all know the importance of trees don't you?"
"It gives Oxygen", shouted our Class Nerd. Duh! Common Sense..
"Thats right. But there are many other uses of Trees as well. Today, I will tell you a story. But, you all will help me with it."
Our hearts leaped. Story!!!

"Firstly, There is a big bag in the van. I want each of you to go over there, and pick up one plant, which you like and come back over here".

We formed a line. Went straight to the van, and picked up a plant. Which one? We didn't know. We just picked up the ones we thought was beautiful. Along with the plant we were given a shovel. We collected our things, and walked back to our places.

"So, everyone of you have got a plant. Good. Now, Sit down where ever you are standing and start digging".

Planting Trees. Image Courtesy: Google.
We were her lovely little kids weren't we? So, we did as she said. While we dug, she started with the story.

"Once upon a time, there lived a king. He was very well known for his courage and skills. One day, the King fell ill. At that times, there were no doctors, and no English medicines. So, a medicine had to be prepared from the plants and trees. The King sent for the best ayurvedic medics and announced that he would give a Big Prize for the one who cures his illness. And so, people flocked from near and far, bringing all kinds of Sharbats for the king. But nothing seemed to cure him. That is when one of his own courtmen, brought him a LEAF and asked the king to eat it. After eating those leaves for 2 days, the King's illness was cured. He called forward his courtmen, and asked him what he wanted. The courtmen smiled and said, 'Jahanpana, the Leaf I brought to you was the leaf of TULASI plant. It is very well known for its power to cure many illnesses. Today, there are not many Tulasi plants left. I request you to get them planted in our kingdom, so that no one faces terrible illnesses.'. The king was very happy with his request. And as per his words, he made sure that the Tulasi plant was planted everywhere in his kingdom. That was the healthiest kingdom from then onwards".

The story came to an end and so was our Planting. All of us had dug the earth and planted our plants. The place looked beautiful now. It was colorful. Just the way nature is supposed to be.

"Plants and Trees Save our lives", said my friend.
The teacher smiled and nodded. "So, from now you know why its essential to grow plants and trees?"
We all shouted "YES!".

Our teacher laughed. She turned to us and said, "You know, people cut trees to build furniture and to make paper. Everyday many trees are cut down for the same reason"
"But they plant another tree, right then, don't they Mam?", Asked my classmate.
"Yes they do. But it is better to use Eco-Friendly books right? Why kill a tree when it has done you no harm?"
"We will use only Eco-Friendly books from now, Mam", We all said.
"Yes you will", She smiled.

After this, we sat in a circle and had lots of fun, sharing our stories. Everyone had different stories. Some were funny and some were sad, but it was full of knowledge.
Even I shared my story. I told everyone how I love Gardening, and how I always water the plants with my Grandpa. We were all really happy.
Our teacher, really pleased with us, gave us all a big Gift. She presented each one of us with a small Tulasi plant.
That day, as soon as we all reached home, first thing we did was, put the plant in a pot.
After this every month, we used to plant a NEW PLANT in our school gardens. And, till we left the school we took care of it. Even now, when we visit our school, the first thing we do is Go check our Plants. Which are big trees now. I can't express how I felt, when I looked at MY TREE. The Tree which I had planted, and looked after. I just love it.

That day, we learned 2 things:
1> Plants and Trees not only give Oxygen but are helpful to Living Beings in many ways.
2> Plants and Trees are the Best Friends one can have in life. The happiness that they present us with is much more than buying a doll or getting a playstation. Its Blissful.

LOVE NATURE BECAUSE IT LOVES YOU BACK.
