The clock struck 10. It was time for my class. I picked up my books and entered my most favorite class in this school, and my eyes, by default started scanning for her. She wasn't in her usual place, which means she wasn't present.
She was one of the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. Unfortunately, she had to be my student. But, that never stopped me from looking over at her whenever I had the chance or to do her few favors, because without doubt she was my favorite student.
My high hopes came crashing down and I wondered if my morning shave had all gone for a toss, when I heard a faint, "May I come in Sir?".
I turned around and saw her smiling up at me with an apology, I nodded for her to come in, and was happy when she couldn't take her eyes off me.
Certainly, I was no Leonardo Di Caprio or Brad Pitt, but I was nevertheless handsome, especially when I shaved. Her eyes wavered around my clean face for a while before she turned away to gossip with her friends. With a huge satisfaction and a smug look on my face I turned to the board. Surely, A teacher student relationship will never work out, but that doesn't mean we can't exchange those rare moments of eyes meeting, a gleeful smile and a heartfelt connection.
My morning tryst with my shaving blade had finally paid off. My clean shaven look bowled her over.
