Brother from Heaven

Me and my Brother
Brothers! There aren't enough words in dictionary to describe them. They will be your best friend and also your worst enemies, and that's exactly what makes them so special.

I too am blessed with one such creature in my life.
Being 9 years older than me, he's more of a father figure than just a brother to me. He's stood by me during my worst times, and also ensured that I got into trouble for something he did. We fight, we crib, we pull each others hair out, but, we also laugh together, enjoy together and have the best of times.

I cannot jot down every memory that we have shared, because there are just one too many, but I can say, that in all of the memories that I have, you've been a hero to me, a role model and an inspiration.

My brother is one person who would let me take my own path so that I can discover myself, but also ensures to stay right by my side wherever I go so that in case I ever trip, he can hold my hand, pull me up on my feet, and ask me to walk again. It's an honor to have been blessed with such a wonderful brother - #MySiblingRocks

Dear Brother of mine, I might fight with you, get angry on you, tell on you to our parents, irritate you to the core, and say all rude words to you, but the truth is, I love you as much as you love me, and my only wish is to see you happy forever, because if there is anyone on this Earth who deserves all the happiness, it is you. You are a gem of a person. You have a been a wonderful son - to our parents, a protective brother - to me, a sweet friend- to all your friends, an extraordinary husband - to my bhabhi, and now, the most amazing Father- to my little niece.

We are all lucky to have you in our life, and I'm pretty sure everyone in our house agrees to that. Thank you, for all that you have done, for all that you have shown and for all that you have protected us from. We owe a lot to you, and this year on Rakshabandhan, I wish that that sweet smile on your face shall never fade, and that all your dreams and wishes come true. I love you Anna.

I would like to say my heartfelt thanks to http://www.igp.com/ (Portal) for giving bloggers this wonderful opportunity to share their sibling story with the world.

Journey to a New Life

Ever since I was a kid, I always thought about the day when I'd grow up and be independent so that I could get my own place, move out, and live by myself. But when that day finally came, I was scared deep down inside. With packed bags surrounding me, I turn around and take one long look at the room that used to be mine. A place which was always messy, with clothes thrown around everywhere, with books all around the place, with covers and papers strewn across the floor - now looked totally clean. There was nothing there, everything cleaned out.

With a sad sigh, I pick up my bag and walk out, locking the doors of the house behind me. My parents were waiting for me at my new place, which I was going to start renting from that day. As I stood at the gate of the place which was my home for 20 years, all the memories come rushing - me running around the place as a kid, me watering the plants with my grandfather, me watching my brother ride his first cycle in the front yard, me playing with my cousins on the porch, me and my mom standing at the gate and just randomly talking about stuff. What seemed like silly things when they took place, now played a special place in my heart.

I had always waited for the day I would move out and be by myself. The day where nobody would be there to tell me when to wake up, or when to close my book and go to sleep. Isn't it a dream of every single soul to have that utmost freedom? And what happens when this is received? You get scared. It is an understandable human emotion, I believe. It is normal to get scared a bit when something you were always dreaming about, comes true.

As I make my way to my new home, I feel butterflies in my bellies, the fluttering of which stretches to my heart. As happy as I was to be independent, I was also sad that I had to be without my mom, I was worried as to what would happen if I fell ill, and I wondered if everything would turn out to be fine.

My new place, 1BHK house in one of the most populated areas of Bangalore, glowed beneath the lights which was put all over it. Picking up all my stuff, I make me way to my new home, a place which would be mine, at least for the next couple of years, with hopes that everything would be fine.

Now, I can proudly say that it's been one hell of a scary ride, but the journey was totally worth it, as everyday that I spend at my new home, I'm learning something new. To be more independent with every passing minute.

I'd like to thank Housing for giving us this wonderful opportunity for sharing our experience in starting a new life. Starting a new life never seems easy, but honestly, with your mind and heart in it, anything is possible.

Sweet Memories of a Shared Laughter

Sometimes, the most memorable day of our life usually turns out to be a very simple one.

It was just another random morning, the only difference was that the Best Friend of my life was next to me, throughout the whole day instead of being miles away. It started out as a very lazy day, where we both pretty much walked around the house like zombies trying to finish our morning chores.

It was no special day, or even an holiday for that matter. Thirteenth of March, 2015, the day I bunked my classes so that I could stay at home and enjoy a day with my best friend instead of going to classes. With a bruised knee and strict mom at hand, it was decided that staying at the house way a better option than to roam around the streets.

So, after not giving much thought about what we had to do, we sat down on the couch and then the time flew so fast, that it was decided by default that we'd be couch potatoes for the rest of the day. As we sat on the couch with TV running in the background, we talked and talked, and then talked some more, about everything and then nothing. We had serious political discussions, we reviewed movies just by viewing the trailers, we cracked very very poor jokes, we laughed on those jokes till our stomachs hurt and eyes filled with tears from all the laughing, And then we cracked more jokes.

After days of spending my time at home, all by myself, being totally bored, as I was to be getting bed rest, this day was better than any walk in the park or a day at an amusement park for that matter. After spending hours on that couch with her, I realized that, sometimes, it is not about where we are, or what we are doing, it is about the person we are with, cause they will ensure you have the same atmosphere around you no matter where you are.

She's always been an inspiration to me ever since I met her, and that day was more than inspirational. Not only did I learn a lot about various stuff that goes on, but I also enjoyed a lot, and didn't get bored even for a second. For someone who had lost hopes of having fun, who thought that her bruised knee would ruin every chance that she'd get, this day was definitely a sunshine through a dark room. She gave me hope, hope to look up and understand that there is indeed a lot that I can do and that I shouldn't give up hopes, on anything, no matter what.

I've told you this a lot of times, but let me tell it again, Thank you, Thank you so much for traveling all the way over just so that you could cheer me up and spend some time with me. It means a lot, and it was, indeed, one of the best days of my life.

Lastly, I'd like to thank Housing, for giving us this wonderful chance of sharing our most memorable day. Thank you so much.

Smile. Smile Away!

When the Summer is stolen away from heavy rains, it is only common to expect our Indians roads to be slippery and filled with water.

Alas! It was a rainy day on that Tuesday Morning, when I started my vehicle to go to my college.Getting drenched in the pouring rain, I made my way to college as slowly and yet as fast as  possible. I was almost near the college when this incident, or should I call it, an accident, took place.

What else can a Rainy Day, Slippery Road, and Sudden Break result to? As I applied sudden break on my vehicle to stop it from hitting the auto in front, my vehicle skidded and the result of it was me falling on the road, and the vehicle falling on my leg. As an unbearable pain in my leg almost made me blackout, people around rushed to help me out.

The impact of the vehicle falling on my leg was pretty bad, due to which I wasn't able to actually move my leg at all. Thankfully, I was given a chair to rest in and some water to drink, after which I gave a quick call to my darling brother asking him to pick me up. 15 minutes later, My brother and Mom are next to me, at which point I solemnly burst into tears, which I had been holding back all along.

The next hour passed quickly as I was rushed to a hospital, and my leg was examined, and doctors came and went, giving me medicines and what not. Finally, came the Orthopedic who examined my leg and told me that it looks like a ligament sprain, and that I had to be on bed rest for the next 3 days. To someone who's on the verge of having her college life taken away from her forever, this news sounded worse than a death. As I cursed the doctor inside my mind, I made my way home thinking that my life was over.

Then, I made my way home. Unable to walk, I made my way from the door to the living room jumping on my left leg. The first thing I see as soon as I reach the living room is my - almost 4 month old - nephew who's on his tiny bed on the floor looking all around. I make my way to him and sit down on the couch opposite to him.

He looks at me and then sees my leg which has a knee cap on it. He stares at it for a couple of seconds before looking back into my tear filled eyes. As I look into his cute little brown eyes, he flashes his most beautiful smile at me, as if he understood everything that had happened and is genuinely happy to see that nothing worst had happened to me. At that moment, my heart melted, and all my worries faded away, including the pain in my leg. I ask my mom to pass him over to me, and then I pick him, and give him a tight hug.

My little Cutie Pie, managed to make me lose all the bad thoughts in my mind at once, by just his cute little smile. Whoever said that, Kids brighten up a home, were telling the truth, cause my little kid, manages to take away everyone's worries with nothing but his charming smile. I love you my darling, I love you.

Just when I had thought that all was lost, my little Nephew made sure to remind me that there's a lot to look forward to and that there was nothing to worry about. Children surely light up a place, and make 'a house' as 'a home'.

I really want to thank my Nephew for cheering me up so well, and for keeping me company throughout the days of my bed rest period. I would also like to thank Housing Look Up and IndiBlogger for giving me an opportunity to write about my crazy adventures.

Happy Baby, Happy Home!

My Niece - 2 Days Old(in this pic)

Laughter could be heard throughout the house! Nitisha, who had just reached her house after a tiring day at office, rushed in to meet her little niece. Little Ari, was dancing in the middle of the hall, to a tune of her own, making everyone laugh and laughing herself. At once, all the tiredness and the frustration of work was out of Nitisha's mind as she saw her tiny tot enjoying. She kept her bag aside and joined Ari with her crazy dance, which made Ari laugh even more.

They danced, they played, they ran about the house making everyone move out of their way. By the time the night fell, everyone in the house were tired of running behind Ari, who had more enthusiasm than all of them compared. She had everyone catching their breaths as she ran around some more. It was a huge task putting her to sleep in the night. She was always so energetic, she would never get tired, and to put her to bed, the whole family had to sing, read her a book, pat her and fall asleep themselves, but still she wouldn't have slept. With a huge difficulty, they put Ari to bed that day, and with a smile on their faces went to sleep themselves.

The next day dawned too soon. Everyone woke up lazily, tired out after a great night. As one by one got ready and left for their daily work, they kissed little Ari, already waiting for the evening to come so that they can play with her again. But little did people know that she was not well. Ari had caught fever in the night, and had suffered the whole morning. Unable to explain what was happening, she could do nothing but cry and cry some more. By the time the evening came, and everyone returned, they were expecting another grand jovial welcome, but little Ari was sitting in the hall, and her cries were echoing through the house.

The happiness left from everyone's face as they rushed to fuss about her. They tried to play with her, dance with her, but that day she was so tired. Nothing was able to cheer her up, and everyone's face fell. The doctor who had treated her had told that she would be fine within the night, and everyone was anxiously waiting for that time to come. The whole house was silent, there was no running around, no talking, no laughter, no shouting. It was as if there was nobody there. All of them were down in the dumps as they waited patiently for their little darling to get well. That night no one could go to sleep properly, as they were so worried. And unlike that day, the next morning took its own time to come.

But they had a surprise! In the early hours of morning a sweet, naughty laugh was heard in the house, which woke everyone up with a start. Little Ari had woken up, and she was fine. At once, everyone's face had a smile on it. The burden on their heads had been lifted as Ari jumped around and made them all play with her. It was as if, everyone had forgotten that they had a job to attend to and they all spent the day, playing with their little Angel.

A happy baby, certainly means a happy home!

Thank you Dabur Chyawanprash for giving us a chance to share our experience.

Love

Let me rest in your arms,
Because there is no other place.
Where I fit perfectly,
and Where I find Solace.

Let me hold your hand,
As we travel around,
Because there is no place safe,
No hands more bound.

Let me look into your eyes,
And see all the love you have for me.
I can't wait for the day,
When you and I become We.

Let me love you with all I have,
Because love is all I can offer you.
I will love you with all my heart and soul,
With all the love that is due.

YOU

You,
You drive me insane
I wait here for you
But all in vain

You,
You make my heart beat fast
Do you even know it?
Would this last?

You,
You give me butterflies in my tummy
Do you know I exist?
Or am I a dummy?

You,
You make me cry
Yet, for you I’d do anything
Even wait here till the earth is dry

You,
Do I tell you I love you?
Or just wait here,
Till you get a view.

You,
Why did you make me fall?
When you never intended to catch?
I wish to pick a brawl.

You,
Please take a knife and stab me,
My heart doesn’t care about anything but you,
So, at least set it free.

You,
I will love you till I die,
Allow me to be there for you,
And never ask me why.

You,
Being with you is all I need.
This is why I was born.
This is my deed.

You,
Let me be a friend,
I promise you I’ll stay so,
Till the end.

You,
Just let me love you with all my heart,
I swear to keep you happy,
And sadness will be apart.

You,
I love you
I love you
I love you

|A Parallel Universe|

Our whole universe was in a hot dense state,
Then nearly 14Billion years ago expansion started,
Wait!
It was a very tiring day as I spent the most of it being upset with the people around me. Sometimes it just feels like all of them are irresponsible and are born just to make your day bad. It was one of those days where I felt like it. So, I threw my bag at home, grabbed the keys of my Safari Storme and left to go on a long journey all by myself.

I put in a pen drive with all my favorite songs, and the day started to get better as I left. Thankfully the roads were pretty empty today, I wonder why though, as it was a weekday. But then nothing could bother me, so I went on, with high speed, racing against myself and the time. It was like a drive of my life.

And to say that it wasn't true would be the biggest lie of my life. Because I don't know how it happened or when it happened, or if it had always been the same but I just that I realized it then, everything was same, and yet everything was different.

I stopped my vehicle at once and got out. I saw my mom, right there, sitting in the verandah of a huge bungalow shouting at my brother for something he did. I was dumbstruck. What was going on? Firstly, my mother in a Bungalow? We live in a normal house, not too huge or too small, where did a Bungalow come from? And most importantly, she is scolding my brother? My MOTHER is scolding my BROTHER? That's impossible! Something is not right. I pinched myself and I winced at the pain it caused! I wasn't dreaming. So what was going on?

Credits: www.dailymail.co.uk
I moved a bit ahead to see a film star living right next to our so-called Bungalow. My jaw dropped! This definitely had to be a dream. I continued to move, and I was awestruck by everything I was seeing. This seemed like a different place, one that cannot exist, but yet it did, right in front of my eyes. It was all happening right there. But how?

I was so busy fighting with my consciousness as to whether this is true or not, that I didn't notice a man standing right behind me. Suddenly, I felt a prick at the back of my head as if someone was watching me and I turned around to see, that I was indeed being watched. That man looked eerily calm, which kind of scared me, yet I asked him the first thing that came to my mind, "What is this?".

He looked at me as he smiled and countered, "What is what?"
"This! This whole thing. This isn't real."
"Are you sure about that?", he seemed amused by my question.

I was getting really tired of this whole thing by now. Yes, it was cool the first time I saw it, but few things tend to bore you real soon.
"Look Mr, I don't know who you are, but I know this for sure, this is not the life that I live in. Look at everything here, it seems peaceful, like everyone just had a huge dose of happiness. And there are celebrities living right next door to my parents, and wait! What are my parents doing in a Bungalow. Last time I checked, we didn't have one. So, what is all this? Is it some kind of fantasy thing you are doing? Are you a magician?"

He smiled at me again, which pissed me off badly, but finally he spoke something useful, "You think this is a fantasy? A fiction?", he asked. I nodded, what else could it be? "Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you my dear, but it certainly isn't any dream or fantasy. It is as real as it could be."
"B..B...Bu..But", I stammer. I'm losing my words.

He puts his hand on my shoulders, it was soothing, just like when a father calms down his daughter. I certainly felt calm. "If you believe in it, it is real. If you don't believe in it, it isn't. It is as simple as that. Everyone you see here is real, everything that is happening here is real, and all of this", he points at everything, "is real. The only thing is that even though its all same, it is very different from the world YOU exist in."
I think about what he just told me.  As much as it makes sense, it doesn't. This man, who I don't even know, just told me that the place that I currently was in, was a parallel universe. 'Is that even possible?' I wonder.

"So, everything we dream of being in our world, we just get to live it here?" I asked, very curious. He chuckled at my question as if I was a kid who asked a silly question.
"Yes and No. This world, isn't much different from yours. You live there, and you live here. Simultaneously. You die there, you die here. Its like you are in 2 different places at once. And in both the places you are living the life opposite to the other. Its a Parallel Universe."

Credits: adiben123.wordpress.com
"So, if I am fighting with someone in my universe, then it means I am being friendly here with that person?" He doesn't reply but starts to walk. I stand still at my place, my thoughts racing faster than my car could ever go. Finally, I come back down to earth, or whatever the place I was in and run to catch up with the man.
"Okay! I believe you, I believe this. But, can I ask you one thing? If all this is true, everything in here, then why haven't I seen myself yet? I am not from this universe, I belong in the other one, that means there should be a replica of me here, shouldn't it?"

He turned to look at me, his eyes glinting, as if he was waiting for me to ask this question. Without any further ado, he pointed to someone, "That's you", he said, and started pointing to all the other people there repeating the same thing, "That's you, That's you, That's you."
I felt like this could go on forever, so I cut him short, "What do you mean? That is not me, THIS is me", I pointed to myself.

He smiled and said, "Yes, THIS is you, but so is that, and that and everyone else in here. You are the person who are talking to me now, and you are also that baby who is that lady's lap, and also that old man who is trying to walk without his walking stick, you are also that little girl who is crying over her broken toys, and also that teenage boy who is angry that his girlfriend left him. Every single person here is you, and You are the every single person here."

He continued, "Just like this parallel universe existing at one time, you are a parallel person, existing in many ways in just one time. You see, there is only ONE person in this whole world, and that is You. Everyone else here is just a part of you, they are living in a parallel life to you, in a parallel way and in a parallel world. At one place you are just being born, while at the same time in another place you are dying. Its all you. You don't die, its just a part of you which does. Once the journey of that part is over, it ceases to exist. So, if you are complaining about your best friend hurting you, it is in fact, you hurting yourself. So you see, its all you. Even me, I am a part of you, just living in a different world in a different way."

I finally understood it all. There are no different people, its just one person and a million parts of him, living at once in a different style. The creator of the world, created just one form, making sure it lived again and again, never getting to die. And in that moment, I understood how the world worked.

I got back into my car, smiling the whole time, started my engine and drove for a few minutes, until I came back to my so-called universe. I parked the car, walked into my house, shut the door and ran to my mom's room and crawled into the bed next to her, cuddling her as I fell asleep.

I was just hugging myself! And yet, I was hugging my Mother!

Men in my life

 1. My Dad

What can I say about my dad? He is the most PERFECT person on this earth for me. The KING of the KINGS and for him I'm his little princess. He is always there for me, through the Best and Worst times of my life. Always by my side, Holding my hands and leading me. Never has he once, forced me, but just followed me everywhere I went making sure I won't slip. I can never thank him enough.
Just love my Papa.

2. My Brother Vicky

The person I love the most on this earth is my Brother. Being 9 years older than me, he was always kind of a second dad to me. A day doesn't go by where we fight, similarly a day doesn't go by when we sit together and laugh for hours. Both being extremely naughty, I have no idea how much we have troubled our poor mother. Pranksters we are. I love him for being so protective of me. He is my role model and idol. I love the way he lives life.
Just love my Anna.

3. My Kamal Bhai

Kamal is my Brother from Another Mother, but no one who have met us till now has ever agreed to it. Everyone thinks we are siblings itself, and well we kind of are like that. Kamal is just like Vicky to me, the only difference is I can share anything I can with this idiot. He is only 2 years older than me and understands me extremely well. So yeah, if you want to know anything about me you know whom to go to. He probably knows more about me than I do. He is the only person in this world, who can make me LAUGH with tears in my eyes.
Love you Kamal bhai.

4. My Bhai Jaan

Partha, aka my bhai jaan is also my Brother from another mother. He is this sweet and cute guy who always takes care of you and guides you. Me, him and Kamal form the 3 idiots gang. We are especially good at teasing others and fighting with each other. My bhai jaan is an exceptional guy. He is extremely good at heart and always caring about others. His way and his method always pleases me. Moreover, he loves animals and has made his home a LIVING ZOO. His rabbits are probably the cutest one on this planet. He takes care of them as if they are his own kids. He will be an awesome parent. The best thing about him is, He always tells me, "Poo, you come over to my place, I will keep you in a showcase, will feed you, will look after you and take care of you. Will do whatever you want, just come na". Hehe! Sweetheart my bhai jaan is. Loves me a lot.
I love you too bhai jaan. More than you love me.

5. My Friend Hiteish

Hiteish! Aah! Where to start. This man has inspired me in so many ways that if I start to explain now I'll probably not stop talking for a few days. He is one of the most awesome person I've ever met and his sweetness, friendliness and charming bubbly nature makes sure everyone loves him. He is one of my best friends and I am glad to be he is friend because is one awesome person.

6. My Bestie Krish

Aah! What can I say about Krishna? He is the first friend I've ever had in Boys and he is my bestest friend ever. Everyone calls us Tom and Jerry. Why you ask? Because 24*7 we keep fighting, but still we can't be without each other. He is a sweet guy and extremely good, Just like me(heheh) hence we REPEL each other. You know, Like Poles repel.. Magnet theory?? Anyway, we fight so much that one would think that if we come in front of each other we will pull each other hairs out, but the fact is that, if we do go in front of each other, we both will sit down and start talking. Hehe! Crazy we are. But still, he is the only person I can talk anything with and for him also its the same.
Hate you Tommy boy. You know what I mean.

7. My Friend Vivek

Vivek is my second best friend. Aka my Choco. He is this extremely sweet guy who loves teasing others and pampering his loved ones. He is one guy, I can talk to all day and not get bored. He always makes me smile with his stupid comments and silly words. I just love how when we are together, I always have great moments. Time speeds by whenever you are here.
You are extremely sweet Choco. Always be like that.

8. My Jeeju Vik

Vikranth aka VIK aka Every Girl's dream boy, is my dearest Jeeju. He is the Choco Boy for so many people. This guy, I tell you, is handsome and sweet and extremely nice. Almost every girl is behind him. Thats why I decided that he'll be my Jeeju and whomever "HE LIKES" will be my sister. My jeeju is really sweet you see, even though so many girls are behind him he Loves only me. I'm his jaanu saali. His little kid. He loves me a lot and takes care of me as if I'm his kid. He looks after me like a Father, takes care of me like a mother, fights with me like a brother, laughs with me like a friend and loves me more than anyone else.
I love you a lot jeeju. You are a very nice person.

9. My Friend Abhi

Abhi is my sweet friend. He and me love playing Counter Strike together. Hehe! We keep fighting a lot and when I say I don't want to talk to me, he starts a server and comes to me saying, Wanna Play? And I'm like YEAH PLEASE! Hehe. Its awesome to play with him. At first I was really bad, then he trained me up. Just love playing with him. He and me love shooting each other. Hehehe!

10. My Bestie Pankaj

How do I begin to talk about this guy? It seems pretty impossible. He has been there with me through some of the worst times of my life. He has supported me, held me up and taught me that whenever you fall down you should just dust yourself and get moving. As much as I love to fight with and tease him, I have a lot of fun talking to him because believe it or not, his words have a deep impact even though he himself doesn't realize it.

Now, you might all wonder why I wrote about them? The guys in my life? Its just because all these 10 of them have stood up for me. These guys are not just some random guys but are heroes in my life. Super Heroes who deserves the title of a Soldier.

They taught me to live my life, to stand up on my own legs, to learn to not care about people who doesn't care about you, to stand up for my rights, to enjoy and cherish the little time that we get on earth. On this day, I want to thank you all, for being there for me. For standing up to me. To be there when no one else was, and someone making me the person I am today. I would never have forgotten all those hardships if not for you people in my life.

Hats off to all of you, because I know that you don't stand up only for me, but also for all the girls in your life. Thank you dear soldiers, you all are angels to me in my life.

My Brother, My Hero!

BlogAdda
When BlogAdda came out with this topic I wondered what to write, I mean I have never been in a position where I needed someone to stand up for me. If anything, I usually stand up for myself. So, I got to thinking, and after thinking for a long time I finally understood what this topic was about and what I had to write.

I don't need a situation to figure out who will stand up for me if I ever need help. I know for sure who will always be my side, no matter what. My brother! He will not only stand beside me all the time, but up to me whenever in need.

I remember the games we used to play when we were little. At that time Super Heroes Cartoons were at a large and we always used to act like we had super powers and we were some of the super heroes.
It used to be something like, I would be captured by an evil Villain who plans to threaten my family with it, but my brother who had super powers would try to save me. He would jump over the volcanoes (Sofa sets in the living room) and destroy the minions of the Villains and then the Villain himself (Pillows). After that, he used to take me back home making sure no one would dare to hurt me again.

It was always the same thing. Me being a Damsel in distress and my Brother my Super Hero.

And I wonder now, wouldn't he really do it if I needed his help? He obviously would. Because I am his little sweetheart and he won't let anyone hurt me. He would stand up for me no matter who he has to face. I can say that without any doubt in my mind.
At that time he pretended to be a superhero, but I guess he always remained a Super Hero to me, superpowers or not!

I am pretty sure that my Brother will not only stand up to me, but any girl for that matter if she needs a help, because he is such a gentleman.
Its true that a girl doesn't necessarily require someone to stand up for her. But neither will all guys stand up to a girl. Only few do. And those few deserved to be called as HEROES!
And my brother belongs to one of those Heroes <3. I love you dear brother, my superhero.

Me & My Superhero
I don't need any Batman, Superman or Spiderman as long as you are here. Because you are so much better than those super heroes.

The Light of Darkness

The spring had just begun,
And it was a beautiful day.
But there was no one there,
Just an empty pathway.

I decided to take a walk,
And went out to face the sun, bright,
But darkness erupted everywhere,
Consuming the light.

Wanting to forget everything,
I roamed around without fear.
But the sadness wasn't going to leave me,
And I felt my eyes fill with tear.

I hushed them right away,
And tried to give a smile.
But little did I know that,
Its been a long while.

He was my happiness,
My love and my desire.
But now he's gone away,
And left me burning like fire.

Do you see me now?
Are you happy that I'm hurt?
I have no one to share this pain with,
No friend to let it blurt.

Please come back,
And tell me everything will be fine.
Because you are not a stranger,
But someone I'd like to call Mine.

I'll be waiting for you,
Because you are all I need.
Come back and wipe this tears,
Which from my eyes bleed.

Indiblogger Meetup

Indiblogger meet with HP & Harper Collins, this was my second Indimeet and I was extremely excited for this as even my parents had given me permission for this. So Sunday morning, I woke up early, which is a big thing. The meet was scheduled at 1:30 so I left my home at 12, and I reached the venue by 1:20. I had to ask too many people to reach the destination because this part of Bangalore was new to me, even though I was born here. Finally it was my call to Renie which rescued me and got me to the right place.

As soon as I reached, I was welcomed by Vineet who was really sweet, as he remembered my name. I also saw Siddesh ji and talked to him. I was informed that it would take another few minutes and that I had to wait down, I went to see that no one I knew was there. I picked up my phone and called up Vinay(leo), who was supposed to be here with Suresh Ji and Karthik Jhi(The Fool) and I find that they were lost. I couldn't help laughing because they were the ones who had told Me and Nimisha that they'll rescue us if we got lost, and they themselves were lost.

They seemed to take forever to come, so I went up and got myself registered, got hold of a last bench, kept my bag and ran out to meet everyone. I met Nabanita, Farida ji along with Farheena and Rayyan, also some of the Indiblogeshwaries. I moved along and went to chit chat with Siddesh ji and his wife, and finally the Three Musketeers(read as Idiots) finally came. I jumped in joy and greeted them, and was immediately seized by Leo who seemed very interested in breaking my hand.

We all went in and got seated, and the meet finally began. It started with the sound of Guitar, and then a voice joined in, and everyone was up clapping for them in tune to the song.
After this the mic was seized by Anoop, our sweet host for the event and then it was 30seconds of fame. This time along with our introduction we had to mimic someone, I was thinking about a line of Hermione's but then we were told that as time was less, they will give chance to another 5people only and I put my hand up, excited to introduce myself.
Me and Tanmayee were asked to introduce together, but as it wasn't possible we did one by one. All I had to say was, "Hello, I'm Pooja Pradeep also known as Princess Poo", to win myself an 8GB Pen Drive from HP. I was really happy.

All the while people were tweeting everything possible, and so was I. It was fun. As I didn't have a good net connection, I asked for other's cell every-time I had to put up a tweet.
Next we were all given a cardboard sheet which had a BarCode on it, which when scanned revealed 'a bit' of a sentence. We were told that sentences were split into 3 parts, and all the sentences were put up on the screen, we had to find people who had our other parts. It was fun. While everyone moved around, I just climbed on my chair and waited for someone to spot me, unfortunately it was spotted only by the camera man, who took a picture of it. I'm not going to put that here.

Anyway, the first 5 group to get their whole sentence got prizes, while the rest of us satisfied ourselves with the fun we had. The best of it all was that, during the beginning when Anoop had asked us all to shuffle and move around, our group simply moved from one table to another. No matter what, we weren't ready to let go off the fun we have when we are together, and we did have loads of it. Teasing Nabanita Di for everything, laughing at every silly thing, passing comments, chit-chatting, and not to forget the lil sweetheart at our table who kept us all amused by his cuteness and also by the loads of chocolates he managed to get to our table.

Next was Miming, we had to make a group of 15 and we had to select one captain and a group name. We had the quickly done, and then we were given a piece of sheet which contained a movie name. We had to enact it out for the others to guess. We had got Adventures of Robin Hood, and at once everyone got busy discussing, and actually laughing at everything again. Finally it was decided that Gyan Ban ji would be Robin Hood, Suresh ji and Karthik Ji would be the rich people and everyone else poor ones. I was asked to dance in front of them, but in the last I decided not to, because I didn't want to. Haha! So yeah, we did it and it was easily guessed. The person who guessed got a pen drive. It was really fun.

Then the best 2 teams got prizes, as well as the worst team. Unfortunately we qualified for neither, so we just got back to what we do the best, teasing and laughing.
Then it was time for the HP person to make himself heard. He came over and talked about how everyone should buy Original Cartridges and not the fake ones just because they are cheap because no matter what Quality matters a lot, and now even their prices are not so high. So its worthy getting an original piece than buying some cheap quality model. Well, I told that and not him. He also spoke about how it is like Plagiarism  and that's why we should avoid it, I totally agree with him, especially after the goodies I got, I have to because they are just wonderful. No copied ones can give such perfectness and smooth working.

After this it was snack time, and also photo shoot, where we had to take a picture and the best one which gets selected would win a prize. Our whole gang went in and were discussing as to what picture had to be taken, Siddesh ji suggested that we all do Ravan pose and we went with it. It was really funny taking that picture, we had fun with that too. Obviously, right?
The snack time was fun too, as we got to move around and talk to everyone. And not to forget the yummy food. The tasty sandwiches, the nom nom veg rolls, the tastiest samosa, and the yummiest Jamoon ever. It was like Heaven in mouth. After we got our stomachs filled to the brim, we moved back in.

Now, the host was Siddesh ji and he pulled up 5 people to the front, one of them being a little boy of 10, who was actually the most enthusiastic of all. And he went around the crowd asking them to suggest some questions. 7 questions were taken up and those 5 were asked to choose one and give an answer to it. Everyone gave a nice and a realistic answer, but the best one was the answer given by the 10year old guy who had selected the question, "What if Ravan had won instead of Ram?". His way of thinking just intrigued me and I was astonished by this person. Hats off to you man!

All the 5 of them got a mug for their words, and the rest questions were passed on to the others, one of them being, "Why this kolaveri Di?", The best answer for this was when someone spoke something related to his wife, can't exactly remember it, but trust me on it, it was an awesome answer! And so he took home a HP Inkjet printer.

Next it was just prize distribution, and prizes were given away for Best Tweet, Best Photo and such. All those people who had tweeted about what their mom or dad had scolded them got a HP STEREO HEADSET each, and I was one of them. Yes, I'm lucky.

After this, we all came together for a group photo, and finally collected our Indishirts and left for home. All the way back home, Me and Vinay were talking about how we are really glad we didn't miss this meet. I mean, we had so much fun and got loads of goodies to take home.
Be Original!
Buy Original!

I even enjoyed the part where the HP Guy spoke, because for the first time someone actually made some sense. And guys, do buy original HP cartridges, I'm not just saying this, I have a reason, and that is, I love my Pen Drive and Stereo Headset. Especially the Stereo headset which I've been showing off to everyone to who would look. Its just so beautiful and even the way it works, its just awesome.

I was a little sad I couldn't take home the printers, but well, I wouldn't have been able to take it in a bus anyway, so its all for good. I'll probably get it home delivered for being a good little girl as I took out my time for writing this. *Fingers Crossed* okay?

Well, that's that. It was an awesome meet and I really thank Indiblogger, HP and Harper Collins people for giving us a wonderful Sunday afternoon. Thank you so much. We hope you'd come back soon, cause we are seriously waiting for another meet.
