Gold Mornings

Every morning is similar, isn't it? You wake up groggily, wondering what this new day will bring, as you go ahead with your morning chores. And then you get dressed and leave for whatever occupation it is, which keeps you busy throughout the day. When every morning is as similar and as boring as the previous day, how can you make a 'day' as a 'good day' or in fact a 'gold day'? When I was put forth this question, the answer was simple. For me, a day in which I live fully is a day worth lived, and hence, that day becomes a gold day. But how do I make a day of gold, when I am even lazy to get out of bed in the morning? 

I realized few years back, that when you do what you always wanted to do, life becomes simpler. I went to a college that I really liked, doing a course which I picked, and hence, it became easy. I used to love getting up early in the morning and I still remember looking forward to going to college, so that I learn new things, and also to spend time with my best friends and our lecturers, who were more of our friends. And soon the days of college gave way to work life. Here too, I chose what I want to do, and I'm happy.

Every morning, I wake up with a smile on my face. It doesn't matter what had happened the previous day, nor does it matter what will happen the next day. What matters is today, and that moment. Someone once told me that I should live my life, one moment at a time, and I've been trying to do that. There is something really exciting about each day, with the way you view it. I believe, we can turn any mornings to a 'Gold Morning' instead of just a 'Good Morning' by being positive, and changing the way we think and look at things. Life is simple, I say, Keep it that way.
